Fun Facts: Did you know?
- The largest lobster recorded was caught off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, and weighed 44.4 lbs (20.14 kg); it was between 3 and 4 ft (0.9 to 1.2 m) long. Scientists think it was at least 100 years old.
- Eating lobster was once considered a mark of poverty and they were served to indentured servants, slaves and prisoners. In one Massachusetts colony, servants rebelled and forced a contract stating they would not be fed lobster more than 3 times a week.

A recent 9 lb monster Lobster!
Sycamore Lane Chardonnay or the Rodney Strong Chardonnay - Smokey buttery lime, lemon and roast apple elements fuse with lemon butter and complement the rich lobster meat.
Beer Pairing
Erdinger Weiss - The citrusy notes of any wheat beer go well with shellfish; in this case it's accentuated by the addition of lemon peel to the brew, which would also work nicely with the dressing in the Caesar salad. The coriander in the beer complements the fennel on the roasted potatoes.
